BMH Feedgear have developed a unique computer program for simulating the path of a bottle as it feeds into and out of a machine. This is extremely useful when designing starwheel pockets for profiled containers. With the aid of this program we are able to gauge precisely the clearances required as a bottle feeds into the infeed star from the feedworm, and transfers from starwheel to starwheel as it passes through the machine.

Every single bottle we design a set of Changeparts for is treat on it's own merit, each bottle has it's own individual shaped starwheel pocket to suit. No matter how awkward the shape of the container, we are able to handle it successfully with our changeparts. We supply many leading UK machine manufacturers with changepart working from drawings supplied. However, they will often call upon our services when it comes to pocket design for unusual shaped containers.

Whilst still in the early design stages of a new machine, original equipment manufacturers will often call upon our experience when deciding on the best machine layout with regards to changeparts. They will send us a basic layout of the machine bed for us to work around. Our thoughts and proposals are presented back to the customer to either accept or if necessary discuss any amendments they may require. When all details are finalised, we will then proceed to manufacture the customers requirements. Where quick release systems are concerned this will include all the core components that are associated with it.
